Q: Do I need to download Edgevertise?
A: No! Once you have signed up and activated your account on www.edgevertise.com, you gain access to our EdgeBuilder application. Use EdgeBuilder to configure your Edgelets and/or The-Wedge panels as you see fit, and when you're done our website will generate some code. Cut and paste this code into the HTML for your website, and that's it, your website is now edge-enabled!
Q: Our business has moved to a new website with a different web address. Can I edge-enable the new site with my existing subscription, or do I need to open a new subscription for the new website?
A: Good news! Simply paste the reference code generated by the EdgeBuilder from your Edgevertise.com account into the HTML code from your new website, and your new site will then be edge-enabled (without paying for a new subscription to Edgevertise). Just be sure to change your web address details in your edgevertise.com account, the edge panel will not appear on your new website until this is done.
Q: I'm having trouble logging into my Edgevertise account, what do I do?
A: We're all human and rest assured the team at edgevertise.com makes their fair share of mistakes! Start of course by making sure that your CAPS LOCK key is off, and please contact us as soon as possible if you still experience difficulties - we'll endeavor to reply with a solution as soon as humanly possible.
Q: Will my web browsing experience be slower when I'm viewing an edge-enabled website?
A: We've designed the Edgevertise edge panel to load AFTER the page you wish to view has loaded, so edge-enabling a website should not affect individual page loading times.
Q: What happens when I load an edge-enabled website on a standard (not widescreen) monitor?
A: Edgevertise will still load on the page, however it will be minimised (will slide to the edge) so as not to infringe on your web browsing experience. You can restore the edge panel whenever you like, just as you would maximise a window that has been minimised.
Q: My question isn't answered in this FAQ's section? What now?
A: SSend us a message using the contact us section of our website; we'll do our best at replying as quickly as possible and will most likely post your question here on our Support page to help anybody else with the same question.
