Edgelet: A Unique Ad Unit

An EdgeletTM is multi page, layered ad that advertisers can build using our Ad Builder tool (EdgeBuilderTM). These ads are basically anywhere between 1 to 6 pages deep and can display a wide range of content including text, images, YouTube Video, Flash content, Forms, Surveys etc.

The uniqueness of the format lies in the fact that end users (web visitors) can finally interact with an ad without the ad content overlaying web pages or rolling over the content. Also, users do not always have to click away (to advertisers' websites) from the page to be able to know more.

Unlike traditional Rich Media ads that essentially rely on the Banner format for visual presentation and delivery, Edgelets™ are a fundamental rethink. Choose your Campaign

There are four different type of Ad campaigns you can create using Edgevertise. Each of these Ad Campaigns serves a different purpose, as Advertiser you can choose between Network Campaign and Network Linked Campaign

Network Campaign is typical industry standard ad campaign, where EdgeletsTM served randomly on EdgepanelsTM. The Network Campaign is not targeted to any specific EdgepanelTM.

Network Linked Campaign is when Network Campaign gets targeted to specific EdgepanelTM. Advertisers select shared EdgePanelTM(s) of specific websites and target there EdgeletsTM to those. This kind of campaign returns with potential and targeted audiences.

Share your Ad campaign

Advertisers can link their accounts with other Advertiser or Publisher and share their EdgeletsTM. With linked accounts Advertisers can reach more people and get more return of their campaign.

Step 1: 'Search for an Advertiser or a Publishers Account in Edgevertise and send them a link request. You can use the name, company name or the username to search for the account.'

Step 2: 'Enter a name, company name or the username of an Edgevertise user to find them and send a link request.’

Once you decide what kind of Ad Campaign you want then there are basically five broad steps to create an Ad Campaign of any type:

  1. Set up your Ad Campaign
  2. Set the budget limits
  3. Target specific publisher's websites with your Edgelets, if you want to
  4. Set up Day-Part Targeting, and last
  5. Select the ads (Edgelets) to run in the Ad Campaign
